The Truth About NATLFED

After the O, another thought

Someone once made the comment that former cadre can’t make it in the real life because of the cult experience.  That might be true in a handful of cases.

Most go to work, do the daily dredge, pay the bills, etc.  Some join other movements or start their own movement; the smallest percentage, you see, as they did retain political change as a result of their experience.

A couple that I know of ended up in special care facilities after being forcefully medicated by non-medical persons for years at a time.  The problem with that, of course, is who the hell does some high school drop out think he is forcing someone to take psychiatric meds to “help that person get better”?

There is also the issue of the users and abusers.  Yes, some of them signed up too and kept on using/abusing during their time, but then after their departure they went off the deep end and had to go to rehab.

This has come up as an interesting e-mail correspondence.
